Ben Nye Ash Powder

Description

Ben Nye Ash Powder is used to simulate ash or light soil on a makeup or costume look.

This loose pigment powder is Ben Nye’s version of Fuller’s Earth and can be used for a wide variety of looks.

You can pale an actor’s skin and tone down redness making them look ill or corpse-like. Use on hands, hair, and clothing to give a weathered look.

Directions

Apply Ben Nye ash powder dry right out of the container for a softer look. You can also use water to help guide the powder to desired spots or glycerin to create a more wet & muddy look that won’t dry out too quickly.

Protect the ash powder from smearing by using a sealing spray such as Ben Nye Final Seal.

You can expect to get 10-20 applications per ounce.

Remove from skin using Ben Nye Hydra Cleanse or soap and water.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhalation. Keep out of eyes and mouth. May stain some fabrics; test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
