3rd Degree silicone is a two part 1:1 mix ratio silicone prosthetic modeling compound that is also skin safe and vegan. This product is best used to create all types of cuts and Burns. 3rd Degree comes in a variety of tints as well as clear which makes this truly a versatile tool to add to your kit.
- Uses: 3rd degree can be applied directly to the skin or into a silicone flat mold for quick silicone wound applications. This product can even be used in a pinch to fix prosthetic edges that may need to be fixed last minute.
- Instructions: Start by taking equal parts of A and B and mix thoroughly then apply to the desired area of the body. Once you have applied the product you then can use a spatula two sculpt the desired effect. Last step is to blend your edges. You do this by taking a flat brush and dipping it in 99% isopropyl alcohol and gently brush away from the center of the wound.
- Important Tips: When using 3rdDegree we recommend that you use separate spatula or tongue depressor for each component. This reduces the chance for contamination of both the A and B parts of the Silicone. We also recommend using a metal pallet or disposable wax paper pallet.
