Kryolan Latex Bald caps are great for theater and stage to create a bald or balding effect. Latex bald caps are also commonly used for lifecasting with alginate.
It’s important to note that if lifecasting with silicone, a Glatzan bald cap is required because latex inhibits silicone from curing.
Application: To apply make sure the actor’s hair is slicked down, this will reduce wrinkling. Place bald cap over the actor’s head and pull down until cap is tight and then trim excess. Once the bald cap is trimmed start gluing first with the forehead then the nape with pros-aid or spirit gum.
Removal: To remove simply use Isopropyl Myristate, Bond off, or Supersolve.
